this fridge worked fine until this morning. I sold it at a garage sale this morning and the person who bought it got it home says it wouldn't work.
I never had any strange noised, no irregularity in cooling, no problems.
the person who bought it lives around the corner and i delivered it on a dolly to their drive way. before delivering it to them it was plugged in and working fine.
Now when i plug it in, nothing, the fan does not engage the no noises, nothing.
we looked at the power chord and the ground is intact, the hot line looks fine. we looked through all the connections in the harness and everything looks fine.
if anyone could put me on the right path as to what i might look into that could cause it to just stop working.

You will need a meter to check things. Plug in a lamp in the outlet to see if it works.

Ok, just to be clear, after you brought it back home from your neighbors and plugged it in, you said nothing came on, no motors, nothing...but do the lights come on. if the light(s) come on, power is not the issue.
What could have happened was that when you originally unplugged it to take it over to your neighbors, its possible it happened to have been in the defrost cycle at the moment you unplugged it, and it would still be in the defrost cycle when you plugged it back in. Leave it plugged in for at least an hour, then check it again. If its still not running, locate the defrost control, to see if it got stuck in the defrost cycle due to a weak defrost control motor. Take a flathead screwdriver and slowly rotate the control knob clockwise, you wont have to turn it more than one quarter turn.
