My wife's dryer will only heat up through the first 5 minutes or so, then doesn't heat up again. I watched the heater element light up and ignite the gas during the initial start-up, so it seems to be doing it's job. After that, I don't know.
Does anyone have any ideas where to go next? My wife is disabled and cannot be going to the laundromat, so this is where I hopefully step in.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sharkster, Most likely the problem with your dryer are a bad gas valve coils. - The part number for the gas valve coil kit is AP3094251 Here are the break down diagrams for the Estate dryer Model TGDS680EQ3Gene.

Gene, you are the best. My wife just said "Thank you Gene!" from the other room.

Many, many thanks. I will definitely keep you posted on the results of all the repairs. Sharkster
