Hi,

If the range element has one burnt out prong out of the two and the corresponding wire is brown/burnt on the first inch or so, can this problem be fixed if the element and receptacle are replaced and if the burnt part of the wire is simply cut off?

The element only gets warm when it is on HIGH

Also, the time display which also displays the oven temperature is not working anymore but the oven still works and the buttons still make a beeping noise when the temperature for the oven is adjusted.

Does this just sound like it's about time to get an entirely new oven/range system? Or can these things simply be fixed?

Thank you for your help!
