My Kenmore Model 665.60654000 Microwave makes a loud humming noise when it starts up.
I have it open and the humming seems to be from the Magnetron.
I have a couple of digital meters. How do I check this? Could it be the HV Capacitor or Diode causing this?
Thanks for you help!

Word to the wise, do not stick your meter leads anywhere near the HV components while powered on!!! You need to replace the mag tube and diode. Your cap is fine.
