Help please!
Water backed up into the dishwasher while I was trying to unclog the sink.
The water safety shut off feature must have kicked in as now there is no water going into the dishwasher.
Will this reset automatically when the apron or skirting dries out or do I have to reset it ? IF so,how do I do it?

Yes , I have already tried the cancel drain reset as per the manual directions but it still will not accept the flow of incoming water. The skirting is still wet from the overflow so does this mean I have to wait for it to dry out before the shut off valve corrects itself if in fact it does this without another kind of reset?

You should be able to press start, wait for about 10 seconds, then press cancel/reset and this will drain the water out, if not, bail it out with a plastic cup.

Its not the water in the machine thats the concern. I can drain it without any problem. What I can't do is get water into the machine now. The safety water shut off will not allow any water to flow into the dishwasher. Its dry. It will go through the rinse /drain cycle with no water entering.
