My refrigerator suddenly stopped cooling, its compressor not working. After I replaced the burned out Starting Capacitor compressor kicked in and the fridge worked for a couple of days and then stopped. It will not re-start. . I disconnected it for a few days, then tried to start. Its compressor kicked-in and it started cooling and then it stopped cooling after two days. Now, on repeated trying its compressor is not starting.

Sounds like the compressor is toast.

May have a partially shorted winding in the compressor or it has a internal mechanical problem.
