My gas dryer will spins but will not heat all started after the lint trap got clogged,i dried a few loads of cotton rugs and didn't empty the trap...lol now it just spins and will not heat.i cleaned out the trap and took the duct off and everything is clear Tested the thermal fuse and its good, the thermostat internal bias shows continuity on one set of prongs but the other set it does not. should it show continuity on both? "it has 4 prongs" the igniter glows but then it couts off the dryer is only 2 years old.its an inglis igs5000rq0

thanks ,don

Assuming the gas supply to the dryer is open, the first thing I would do in such situation is replace the gas valve coils.

- The part number for the gas valve coil kit is AP3094251
