Hi, I'm working on a friends Cold Spot Refrigerator. What happened he left the freezer door open and now the ice maker doesn't work. I know there is supposed to be a blinking light on the on off switch area. I can't get the light to blink or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

The optics boards in the door frame are hard to work on. I would pull the connectors off, then on, perhaps a pin worked loose from the frost. If you have a meter you can check for voltage to the reciever board.
