Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/9/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		My washing machine has stopped agitating and I assume it is from an oversize load we tried to wash (comforter). We've tried to diagnose what went wrong. The belt is still on, and I can turn motor clutch by hand, thereby turning the belt and it turns the transmission and drum fine. I assume it is the motor. Is there a way to know for sure? Is there some kind of "reset" to try first? It seems like something else would go out first before the motor would burn up.
