I am trying to replace the inlet valve on a refrigirator that I bought used. All the wires were cut to the old valve, and I have no idea which wires go where. I have searched everywhere online, and can only find wiring diagrams that make no sense. All I need to know is what wires go to the green side and what wires go to the red side.

There is one red/black, two black, two white/blue, and two white/tan. It looks like the red and two black go to one side and the other two sets go to the other side. I can see from the diagram you provided that the red and black go to the water side and the other go to the ice side but I don't know which wires go to which sides of the connectors or why there are two black, white/blue, and white/tan wires.
