I have this dryer that needs the belt replaced but my wife tells me that after 15 min. of dry time the drum stops and then it humms for a little while and then it dies. when she tries to start it up, it will not start until its cooled off and the process starts all over again.I was wondering if the flame sensor is bad or can it just be as simple as the belt?

There are no thermostats in your gas dryer which can turn off the whole dryer. They operate with the heat function only.

Thanks again Gene. I did tear it down and ran the motor with no load and when it started it made a buzzing sound and flutterd for 5 sec. It sounds like the bearings went bad. Thanks
