The motor is running on the dehumidifier but it does not pick up the moisture. The pan that contains the water is empty, no water. I know that it is an old dehumidifier, but is there something that can correct this problem. Thank you

Can this problem be taken care of without having to buy an new dehumidifier. Thank you
