This Bosh has worked fine til now...Very noisy when on and leaves a whiteish, rainbow film on dishes...unusable now. I suspect bad pump/motor that is leaking oil into dishwasher. How hard to fix myself.
Thanks

Hi Roy,

Very likely there is a hard white scale build up all over, especially in the spray arms and pumps. The dishwasher needs a good cleaning and you have to choose a right detergent in such situation. You can find more information in our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/dishwasher-repair/12961-how-do-i-take-remove-strainer-clean-heating-element.html#post37989 and http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/dishwasher-repair/7757-whirlpool.html

Remove all filters and screens from the dishwasher and clean them separate. Check for a broken glass inside.

If it would not help then the circulation pump probably has to be replaced. The instructions are attached to the reply.
