Freezer works well, yet refrigerator is warm. I have reviewed the forum and looked in the parts section for the defrost timer and could not find one. I did noticed the fan in the frezzer does not come on. I removed the fan and checked it our by applying 110vac and it ran just fine. I reinstalled the fan and checked for voltage to the fan, there was not any.

Part 4 in diagram 2 is your timer. If you don't have frost build up on the evaporator coil, you don't have a defrost problem. Make sure your damper which lets the cold air in the freezer enter the fridge opens when you adjust the fridge temp control. Part 17. Thanks for the reply. I did located the timer and it is not turning, therefore, defective. I tried to get the fan to come on by turning the timer with a screwdrive but it would never come on. Do you relate this to the defevtive timer? I also checked the damper and it seem to be working.

The timer, in and of itself does not turn the fan on but it allows to to come on when the defrost cycle is over. When the compressor is running the fan should be running.

Since I now know the timer is defective, I will order and replace. Any suggestion on what I should check in regards to the fan not receiving power?

See what happens with the new timer. The fan may not run with the door open.

Replaced timer and closed doors and still can not get the fan to run. What else do you suggest I check? Can you send a wiring diagram.

You'll just have to get the wiring sheet and see what is in series with the fan that can interrupt power going to it. Part number: AP3065192

Tried to order the wiring diagram form Appliance Parts and was told the publication was discontinued. Can you guide me on how I may secure the needed wiring diagram?

Found a pin issue and it resolved the lack of voltage to the fan.
