My dishwasher will not turn on. I have checked the wires and wire nuts, they appear to be fine. The door latch appears to be working fine. Any ideas? I think we're going to start shopping for a new one.

are you getting 110 volts coming in? any lights coming on?

yes. I'm thinking maybe the dial/timer (I think that is the term for it) is shot?

i would check door latch , it may be a micro switch problem
