Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		I am assuming that it hums but will not start and that the humming is coming from the motor. First, mannually turn the drum to make certain it is not jammed or hung up so that it does not turn. If the drum turns, try this test. With another person, open the door and have that person depress the door switch. Then push the start button and manually turn the drum. If it starts up, then the likely culprit is the motor which will have to be replaced. Good luck, let us know what you find out.
