My admiral washer won't spin. I've sat in the laundry room through the cycle to see what happens and it just continues to agitate through the spin, rinse, and second spin cycle. If I manually turn it back to spin, it will spin and then rinse, but won't ever spin a second time unless manually set there. It just doesn't click in to spin mode anymore. What is wrong with it? Any ideas?

The model number you posted does not come up. Verify and repost it.

I've done an internet search and that model number is indeed valid. I might have typed it in wrong. It is AAV8000AWW.

I have the same issue, only it makes a chirping noise like the belt is going and sometimes there's the smell of hot wet rubber. When I try to look for belt parts (btw, the model number for my washer according to the sticker on the back is: AAV7000AWW) i come up with everything under the sun except the belt parts.
I miss my old maytag that I had for a good 10 1/2 years until it started clanging and stopped agitating:( (i did about 3-4 loads of laundry per day, we have a big family).... unfortunately before i could get it fixed my FIL hauled it off to the dump for big item day despite my saying NOT TO.
I also don't like this washer in that their idea of "super capacity" is only 1/4 of a load in my old washer.
