:rolleyes: gas dryer maytag ser.01 #DG110 serial #038416LE makes a rummling sound on start up. belt loosening???? some noise throughout cycle also when dryer is off ,we turn the barrel and its the same rumbling noise

The most common thing that causes these dryer to be noisy is the blower wheel. To check this, simply take the front off the dryer. Once off you should see the blower at the bottom if the blower is loose on the motor shaft replace the blower. Noisy Maytag Dryer Repair Guide

grandma dryer (maytag) thanks. we'll try that. ;)
also for our kenmore dryer not keeping the heat, changed out old coils AND thermo sensor .........:D yah!... it works thank you.
