hey, my maytag lwc202 dishwasher is leaking all over the floor. it's real old, and i'd like to get a new one but i gotta pay every penny i owe to the irs and need to make this junker work a little bit longer. i've checked the drain hoses... clear... sink drains... clear... door gaskets...fine... the water that's NOT draining out of the dishwasher comes out fine when i pull the drain hose so there is no blockage there... it looks like there is a big metal thing in the back right when i open the bottom panel that SEEMS like where the water is coming from... the water just doesn't seem to drain out of the dishwasher... and then after the first cycle... maybe the wash cycle or rinse cycle or something it just comes out all over the floor unless i open the door to stop things. what should i do? i've never yanked one of these out from the counter top... is it hard? should i bother?? what should i look for? this thing is old and junky but it's been a workhorse for probably 20 years. i know i can fix it myself just need someone to point me in the right direction.
