Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/17/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		Dear Pros, Help! I've read the thread re the GE motor sticking. But I don't know if my model can be fixed like that by moving fins. I took the bottom plate off. But all I see is a black iron motor? and no fins...unless the fins are inside the front open parts. Am I looking in the right place? Or do I have a funky motor? Thank you! :-)

If it would not help then the whole pump and motor assembly has to be replaced, or you can try to install a new impeller and seal kit. No washing either. I tried to look at the motor but seems more like K_kodiak. My GE model #GSD2200Z05WH. Would you be able to say if this motor has fins? All I can see is black motor with small holes in front. Tx Bik
