Some of the touch panel controls on out Maytag Built-in oven stopped working. The Bake, Light, 8,9,and 6 buttons do not work, broil and the other buttons work fine. Looking at the parts list there are two components, Panel-ctrl(AP4418702) and Control,H1 (AP409744). Which one do I need to replace, or is the answer both?

Most likely the part you have to replace is the control panel - AP4418702

I have this same issue with certain buttons not working on the control panel or touchpad. After taking out the control panel and circuit board that's behind it, I can't figure out why the problem would be with the control panel because the touchpad is such a simple component with only the push buttons - it seems if there are multiple buttons that have gone bad that it has to be the circuit board. Does replacing the control panel really fix the problem? I don't want to order both parts and then have to return one of them. Can anyone help clarify why this part goes bad? Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, now how hard is it to replace the panel yourself?
