how do i check to see if the thermostat on a maytag microwave is good? i am getting power to the thermostat but not out of it. had a service guy come by and he said that the magnatron and thermostat are bad, but i jumped a wire from the leads of the thermostat and everything worked. i am an electrician but could use a little help.

Pretty much going through the same thing with our Maytag. Fridge is 72 degrees and freezer is fine. Did a little research with no experience and think it's the air damper control assembly located behind the temp gauges in the very top-back. That pannel was making a racket and then the fridge stoped. If you find out anything plz let me know and I hope my info. was useful. Good luck!
