I'm trying to confirm that the part I found on AppliancePartsPros.com will be the correct part for my oven before I place an order.
I part I need to replace is the bake element.
The oven is a Hotpoint, the model number could be RB735G 0J4AD or RB735G OJ4AD. I can't tell if it's a 0 or an O. Anyway, on the website the closest match that I can get is RB735G*J4, and it indicates the replacement part is AP2031084. I hesitate in placing an order for this item because the dimensions do not match up with the part I'm looking to replace. I just really need a professional confirmation so that I can place the order or keep on looking.
Thank you.

The "*" indicates any single character. The missing "AD" just refers to the color.

Yes AP2031084 should be the correct replacement. The dimensions and shape may not be identical to the original but should fit fine.

Thank you so much for your quick reply, Dan O. I was able to place the order for the part in time to have it shipped the same day, and I received it the day after, which is today.
I've just finished installing the replacement bake element using the installation instructions that you so thoughtfully supplied with your reply. I am happy to report that the test run went perfectly.
Many, many thanks to you, Dan O, for your help, and just as many to AppliancePartsPros.com for such lightning fast shipping. I wish you could share with me the strawberry rhubarb pie that I am going to be able to bake this weekend thanks to all of you.
