I've given up on finding the discontinued terminal block for this oven. However, what I'm wondering is: if I just buy another ceramic terminal block, and whatever bake element matches it (as long as it fits in the over), will that work? That is, are the wires basically the same? I really don't want to give up on this oven! Thanks a lot, Katy

Quote:I'm wondering is: if I just buy another ceramic terminal block, and whatever bake element matches it You would need a block * that will fit into your oven*. There weren't that many different ones used to begin with so finding anything different from the original is very unlikely. What you might be able to do is purchase a universal bake element with over-sized mounting plate, screw it to the oven and wire it directly doing away with the plug-in block altogether. I'm afraid I do not know the part number of such an element in the US. They're common in Canada. Maybe someone will drop by and offer a suggestion, possibly " ROA-N" made by Chromalox? Thank you so much--I'll look into it. And yes, if anybody else knows something about the number I'd be glad to hear it! Thanks, Katy
