My fridge stopped cooling. It seems like the compressor is working fine and there is not clicking sound but the fan next to the compressor is not spinning. the compressor is getting real hot. What can stop the fan from working or how to check to see if the fan is bad.

Also see if you have voltage to the fan.

I tested the fan with a multimeter and when testing the ohms it just shows 1 on the screen. Is that what I want?

ok, just tested the 2 cables and I am getting voltage to the fan but the fan is not spinning. I am assuming its a bad fan motor.
