Sorry to be redundant with this post. I have tried switching wires at the inlet valve. It is a dual valve with two connectors on each one. Each valve has a two position red connector and a two position white connector. I tried switching both connectors from one valve to the connectors on the other valve. I get water at the door either way. My question is, after switching the connectors, shouldn't I have gotten water at the ice maker when the door water switch is activated??

You are correct. I think there is a problem with the water inlet valve.

Woodchuckie:
Which of those connectors should be switched?? White ones, red ones, or both?? Also, the icemaker is removed. Will the valve work if that is out??

Swap both connectors and the valve will work without the ice maker.

Swap the white with white and red with red. Good luck.
