Mine is either trying to start on its own without us doing anything or we try to choose a wash cycle and none of the buttons work. My father-in-law knows a frigidaire repair man....So he is trying to get a hold of him....I will let you know if I find out anything.

First make sure the unit is getting power. Could have blown a circuit breaker, have also seen units where a wire nut connection has gone bad. Next on the list would be the two door switches.
