Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/7/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		The dryer is making a loud clanking noise when turned on, it seems with every revolution of the drum. There is warm air blowing out the back vent, so heat and blower seem fine right now. What should I be checking? Thanks!

Also check their shafts for wear. It is recommended that both be replaced. You will need a pair of Cir (sir) Clip pliers to remove the retaining rings. While you have it open you may as well check the belt, idler roller, front glides, drum seals, etc. for wear and replace as necessary. Give the interior a good cleaning, including the blower wheel. Also a good idea to clean and check your vent system.

Not a big fan of Microsoft and their bloated software. Do not even use Internet Explorer, I am on Firefox. If I wasn't too lazy to learn a new operating system, I would be on a Mac But odds are high that it is the rear support rollers.
