hi, my kenmore washer will not stop filling with water on all water levels.if i move the timer dial manually to the next stage ,nothing happens it only fills with water.no rinse or spin

Hi Jimbo

If the water does not stop when you stop the machine you will have to replace the inlet valves. (or possibly the timer, but this is not likely)

If it does stop when you stop the machine, the problem is in your water level system.

1. Open up the cabinet and make certain the plastic tube running from the water level switch down along the side of the tub is not blocked and is properly connected.

If it is

2. Replace the water level switch.
