My dishwasher will not spray or pump off. May 13 I ordered a PCB assembly because 2 capacitors were fried & 1 diode looked burnt. I recieved it within 1-2 days-GREAT WORK!!!! It washed 1 load well, and then would not pull water in or spray. The timer would click & it did dump the soap, but no pump action. It would not pump off either. You replaced the assembly when I called for help. I installed it yesterday. Now all buttons appear to work, it pulls in water, but again no spray. When I try to start a cycle it pulls in water & I hear the motor hum for a couple of seconds, and then.......nothing. Could there be a fuse, or somthing burnt on the pump? Why would the first board make it work for just 1 time, and then die?

The first thing I would do is remove the toe panel and check the motor for any signs of water leak and/or corrosion.

If it was a slow water leak which is invisible for a consumer, it could cause a damage to the motor bearing. In such situation the motor has to be replaced.
