Below is orginal issue and did replace the water inlet valve with new one. This goes back to June 3 or 4th this year. Now it does the same thing is happening again but seems to be only on the heavy load only now any suggestions?
the model is a RCA this just started, when it fills the tank it keeps filling with water but after i get it to stop the rinse cycle runs fine. any suggestions what it might be and how to fix it?

If you have to turn the water off to stop the water the water valve is bad. But if turning off the washer stops the water the most likely cause is that the tube that runs from the water level switch is stopped up. To check this remove the front and look at the left on the side of the tub you should see a box with a hose attached to it. Pull the hose off and see if it is clogged at the end. If so unclogged it and it should go back to work. If not the water level control may be bad. Clothes Washer Repair Guide

I want to Thank the technicain that diaginosed the problem based upon what i'd shared in my original post. I had the new valve come in this moring and changed it and it seems to be working great now!
