Hi I have a Whirlpool Duet washer That started flashing trouble code F11 and stopped. If I restart the machine the wash seems to go through the cycles, but then next time it flashes the code again and stops. The manual says for most f codes to call a repair person Quote (F4 to F16 Electrical Problem)

Perform the troubleshooting for the "F11" error code as described in the tech sheets and post the results.

I also was ready to throw the unit away...I resolved it by closely looking around the CPU circuit board at the larger solder connections with a magnifying lens...one clearly had a poor solder connection and I resoldered it...I've had this occur on other major appliances before. Seems in quickly making these large connections the machined do not fully heat the larger leads or relay, etc and solder does not flow evenly or eventually oxidized...2 cents worth of solder fixed instead of new circuit boards...
