The other night, the oven element would not turn off. I cut power at the circuit breaker, waited a few minutes, then tried turning the breaker back on. The element went on again. Is it clear what would cause this, or might their be multiple problems that could cause this symptom?

Quote:oven element would not turn off. If the element as glowing red, I agree with applianceman that a problem in the control is most likely responsible. Also, can you double which the last digit of your model number? I found listings for models using just about every other letter besides FEF326AB DJFYI Dan O. www.Appliance411.com The Appliance Information Site=D~~~~~~
