On our 2nd Frigidaire FGHT2055VF fridge - first one had solder burns and nuggets in the freezer compartment - brand new out of the box.
Second one plugged in for a day......lights worked initially......checked temps after a day and neither fridge nor freezer lights work. Unplugged, checked power, all good.

I see no visible switch for these lights........how do they operate?

Second issue - temp adjustment does nothing. Press or hold Temp button and nothing.
Do not feel any sort of tactile feedback......

On the good side the temps in freezer and fridge compartment are good!

Thanks for any answers

Hi,

**FGHT2055VF**

Appears to be missing a digit. Please check on the model/serial tag on the refrigerator.
https://www.applianceaid.com/model-number.php Some model# helps.

**I see no visible switch for these lights........how do they operate?**

Not a good idea...but many of these have reed switches in the cabinet and magnets in the door to operate the lights.

Not missing any letters or digits on that model #.
Right off the registration card - checked it 3 x
Tried a magnet around the perimeter of the box - no luck there.
Guess I wait for the repair tech to troubleshoot it.

Only reliable place is the model/serial tag on the appliance itself....most registration cards, silent sales stickers, energy guide stickers or tags never have the full model#.

Please keep us posted.

So model number is FGHT2055VF6.

Tech said it was light bulb in fridge compartment and being wired in series with freezer explained why freezer bulb did not work either. He removed fridge bulb and freezer bulb works. That makes no sense if in series…..
Also temp control is adjustable with fridge bulb removed.

Said he would get new bulb from Frigidaire.
This is in a vacation home so all info was over the phone from the tech.
I show up 4 days later and just for the heck of it I screw in ‘bad’ fridge bulb and it lights up. 🤷🏼‍♂️.
I had ordered replacement bulbs from Amazon - they arrive tomorrow.
Hope this isn’t a harbinger of what’s to come with this brand new fridge!
