I have a RF28R7551SR/AA refrigerator with the center rollout drawer and I found this part under that center drawer. Gray 1/4" square by about 3 feet long with a white pin on one end. Does anyone know where the thing goes?

Yes, I've seen a couple different versions of that but I can't tell which shelf it even is.

I have looked up the '16' collection, and that looks like it goes to a fridge that doesn't have the middle drawer.

The Samsung site says it does fit my model but the thing doesn't look like it was ever installed. The rod and the white pin that goes on one end were just rolling around loose under the middle drawer tray.

Maybe the factory left it in there by mistake??

Could be but the thing got moved from my old house, to a storage place, then had the doors taken off and moved from Ca to Texas so it would be a miracle if it stayed in there. I think the movers had to remove it to get something apart but who knows?

And the Samsung site does say it is a part for this fridge.

Anyway, it's been almost two years since it got moved here and so far, nothing seems to be unsupported.

One of those important, but not critical parts!? ;)

Apparently. Guess I'll just stick it back under there. It's too long to fit in the junk drawer.
