Model PFE28KSKLSS
Five year old GE Profile refrigerator (French Door / Freezer chest on bottom). Started having problems with it not defrosting and so I replaced the heater. Still not defrosting and so I thought it would be a good idea to try and run diagnostics in order to figure out what else needs to be replaced.
I have two problems now. While I was in there messing around, I tried to run the Dispenser Self Test Mode (not sure why as it was working just fine). I was unable to exit out of the test and may have hit some buttons changing things. Now, the ice dispenser and water dispensers do not work. All of the lights are on, but it is acting as if the doors are open. In fact, the door alarm is going off when I turn it on, but all doors are sealed tight.
What did I do?
My second problem is that most of the diagnostics codes I am getting are not on the Technical Data sheet. For example, I ran the Main Board Version Test and it gave me a code of 0471. The chart stops at 0403 and so I have no idea what 0471 means. This is happening on many of the tests I have run.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Well, I figured out the water dispenser problem. I think I had taken off the door sensors and so the fridge thought the doors were open. Put them back on and was good to go.
Now, I am still trying to find a list of diagnostic codes.

Megarms, thank you for your question. Error codes will only appear in diagnostic test mode 00 00. The board version test is not used during testing as it is only to show the program currently loaded into the control. If the defrost bi-metal has continuity, the failure would be in the main control WR55X38248.
