my refrigerator is making a humming sound behind the air tower and is not blowing air. the freezer is cold but the bottom of fridge is hot. also could thebe part of the sealed system?

Remove the rear cover in the freezer section, to confirm it is the fan that is humming.

If the evaporator coils are heavily iced up and the fan blade is jammed up on ice, then you probably have a defrost problem.

If fan is clear and just humming then you probably need a new fan motor.
Can confirm this a couple ways.
1. Measure the voltage at the fans plug, if it is 120 volts and the fan does not turn the fan is toast.
2. Remove the fan from the unit, connect it up with a line cord, plug it in, if it does not turn the fan is toast.
