I have purchased a replacemtent theromstat, part #4344659 for my Kitchen Aid Wine Fridge. It is the correct part, but a slightly different design than the original. Because of the difference I'm uncertain which wire connects where. On the original part the blue wire fit into a connector labeled 3(c) and the black wire to one labeled 4. The connectors on the new part are also labeled 3 and 4. Would it be correct to use the same numbers when connecting the wires to the new part? If not, is there another method of matching wires to connectors?
Thank You.

The wire order makes no difference, just a simple switch. If you got the control here, probably ok. I am usually uncomfortable with a substitute differential control, you may have problems. Also, if your old control made the item run forever, but you could turn it off, you probably have refrigeration problems and not a control problem, this control might do the same thing!!

I purchased the replacement part from Appliance Parts Pro after a technician trouble shot the system and diagnosed a bad thermostat. The fridge was not operating and power was not getting to other components. Glad to hear wire order makes no difference. Will connect to the same numbers and give it a try. Thanks.
