Hello,
My Samsung fridge/freezer is only 8 months old and I noticed that some of our frozen items were starting to thaw the other day. The freezer temp digital display said -1 and the fridge said 36, which are the proper set points. I could tell just by feeling items inside that the display temps were not correct so I unplugged it for about 3 minutes and when I plugged it back in, the freezer display said 42 and fridge said 57. they both cool down to whatever I put the set point to, but once the temp is reached, they never start cooling again and the temp displays never change even as they warm up, they stay on -1 and 37 until i unplug it and plug it back in. As soon as I plug it back in, both temps show the actual warmer temps and freezer and fridge both start cooling back down to set points. I changed the main board thinking something may have burnt up in a recent power outage but it's still doing the same thing. Any suggestions? I can't find anything that would allow it to cool down to set point every time and then stop. Thanks for any help/Info you may have.

What is the model number of your appliance? This can help identify testing points to better identify what may be causing this failure.
