Dryer stoped getting hot or warm and does not dry the clothes. It is cold inside the dryer. I have reset the breaker (it was not tripped) and same problem exists. I have replaced the heating element before. Is it the element? Prior to this it was taking a while to dry clothes although after a few cycles the clothes were hot when taken out.

if you have a multimeter check for continuity on heater ,thermostats ,thermalfuse .may even be timer .use wiring diagram for timer to see which contacts close to heatercircuit ,turn timer todry cycle ,like minutes cycle

A major cause of failure to heat is a blocked vent which will shortly destroy the heating element, please check.
