We know this because Kitchen Aid sold us an extended warranty, and we had a service man out to fix. They diagnosed, and ordered parts. But after many calls, they told us they will be canceling our extended warranty because they can not find the needed part. ON A 4 YEAR OLD APPLIANCE!!! So I am putting the part number out there for any help. Model KFED500ESS Part number W11101459
