Running the test cycle is very helpful. Check the Technician documents to see if you can run test cycle. I have Whirlpool WDT790SAYB2. Wash motor was intermittent. Once it failed it had resistance in M ohms. Replaced wash motor it worked once installed but it developed leak. Purchasing "Motor to sump seal" fixed the issue. Wish I would have purchased seal with motor.
