I have a GE range, general instructions say to install a high altitude kit if it's being used over 6,000 ft. The general instructions give the number of the kit (wb28X29254) and say to follow the instructions included with the kit. I ordered the kit, it didn't come with instructions.
GE customer service says the kit doesn't come with instructions, directly contradicting the published manual.
Any ideas how to find the instructions?

Hey, Going through the same thing now. They claim they can email me instructions after I get them the Model number with One additional number in sequence that none of my paperwork has. Bottom Drawer by the left leg. For instance my JGSS66SEL should have another number here JGSS66SEL_SS. Super convenient since my High Altitude stove in not in the next room but up at high altitude.
