My dryer does not heat, only lukewarm. Which element do I need and how do I put in on?

Hi Linda

I am a little confused, as you say the dryer will not heat, but then say it provides luke warm heat. For repair purposes these are two signficantly different situations.

Let's assume the dryer gives you luke warm heat and is taking a long time to dry your clothes. The most common cause is something blocking the venting system, or the blower is not functioning. You need to take off the cover of the blower and check it, and then clean out the whole machine, particularly the venting system. When you plug it back in make certain you are getting a strong air flow out the exhaust.

If this does not fix it, post back with more detail about what the machine is doing and we will go from there.

Good luck.
