In my freezer, the blue wire that comes into ( or out) of the heating element is charred, blown, and disattached from the little aluminum push in connector. Discovered that when freezer started accumulating ice on the back wall and then disassembled.

Just called the Appliance Parts Pros to find out the part # for the blue wire and how to replace it, and was told, the wire is a part of the fridge wiring and cannot be replaced.

Is there a way to replace this wire, or mend it up half way?
