Hello! While troubleshooting my Whirlpool Cabrio washer for a clicking noise and not spinning during wash cycles, we found that the Spanner nut and hub pieces had corroded pretty badly and need replacing. Rust Buster and CLR cleaned it up a bit, but not enough to loosen the pieces for removal, so it’ll need cutting.

However, the replacement part kit #w10334651 is basically out of stock and back ordered everywhere we’ve looked. We’ve found some plastic pieces of a similar size we can maybe cobble together, but not a full plastic replacement kit.

Does anyone know if we should hold out for the month+ it could take to get the metal kit in stock, or if there is a proper set of plastic replacements for this washer?
