Fridge turns on and off about every 3 seconds. The compressor turns on during the short time that power is on. The lights come on. Checked the door switches with an ohmmeter and they are good. The control panel reports a power failure every time the power cycles on but doesn't stay on long enough to go into diagnostic mode. Any ideas where to go from here?

I would check the power cord, wall plug-in, and the power board. Look for burnt connections and damaged wires. Check the power board for bulging or blown capacitors and burnt traces on the back side of the board.

Of course unplug it first.
