My GE Cafe OTR microwave convection oven displays an error: Caution Oven Hot whenever door is opened. Yet oven is not hot. Spin Dial will still work to microwave food but certain functions like popcorn button will not because of the error message. I cannot find the error message in the manual and emails to GE did not help. Is this a board problem or perhaps a temp sensor / thermostat problem? I prefer to fix myself but need confirmation on which part is defective and the control board is pricey + not sure if a certain thermostat is responsible. Anyone have this problem or can help?

I also have this recent problem-6 visits from technicians- 2 new boards. Tech says it maybe a new safety feature built in the software. Will know more after Monday when the tech designers get back to my tech . Totally annoying- can’t mute the alarm!
