Hi.. I have a relatively new (2 year old) Samsung electric oven model ne58k9430ss. It recently emitted a terrible plastic burning smell during a cook cycle and then subsequently would not heat.. broiler or baking elements. Cooktop still works. Upon opening the back, I found the lower left corner of the main control board to have burned. I don't know if you can see this picture, but here is a link to it: https://photos.app.goo.gl/6QmRa2sfMyjwKrr67I've purchased a replacement control board and have it. What do I do about these wires? Can I just splice new connectors into these bare wires and reconnect everything back to the control board? Is it safe to do so? Or do I need an entirely new wiring harness? I've looked at them but am completely lost as to which one I should get. Thanks for any feedback. Patrick

I have the exact same scenario. What did you end up doing with yours?

If you replaced tbe motherboard after your fire, I would consider spending the money for a new - Non-Samsung oven range. Samsung has massive global problems on all their appliances inclusing oven fires
