Whirlpool Cabrio washer, model WTW8500DC0, Spin Basket bottom seal is loose. After pulling the spin basket out and cleaning the exterior bottom, I noticed the center hole that fits around the transmission shaft has a rubber seal at the very bottom edge...and part of it is loose.

I was thinking maybe I could repair it with contact or rubber cement, to get it to stay in place. It's about a half-inch of seal that is loose.

Any thoughts on this?
